DNA Detection—Kits
All of these kits have been designed to permit the analysis of the 13 COmbined DNA Index System (CODIS) core loci, which consist of a set of 13 STR markers that have been adopted nationwide for forensic purposes. CODIS refers to the National DNA Database, which is a searchable repository of DNA profiles from convicted offenders, crime scene samples and missing persons.
